Day 4

Yesterday I finally had my energy back:) I felt great the whole day. Got a few things done and was in bed by 11:00. Later then I wanted. I really should have been in bed by 10:00, but I was doing other things. My workout yesterday was my scheduled 3 mile run which I did outside and it was FREEZING!!!!! I had none stop tears running down my face, but I still love running outside:) I also needed to do weights but didn't have time after my run so I waited until my boys went to bed and I got my weights in around 8:45ish :)
Today is day 4. I woke up happy and full of energy. My workout today will be weights again and Turbofire. I am still sticking with my diet of high protein and veggies for now. I am so happy to be back on track again. It feels so GOOD!!!!!! It also helps that my hubby is doing it as well so we are helping each other and kicking some BUTT!!!:)

  1. That's awesome that Jason does it with you. It's really hard when I try to be healthy, because Steve tries to get me to eat bad and I have to be strong, all on my own. That is how I got where I did, because I stopped caring and listened to him. LOL It's so much easier when you have someone to do it with! It's also hard, because my kids are swimmers and I have to make them high carb dinners and stuff. So, I always have to make something seperate, for myself. I guess that is just what has to be done, right, to get where you want to be!!!

    1. I know you don't know me but, I was a competitive swimmer growing up & then a swim team coach. I have lots of healthy tricks & treats that kept me full on days & weeks that were swim practice & not necessarily meets. While, they need carbs to a point they only need to be carbo loading the night before a meet. Also, the amount of carbs depends on the age of your children, the swim program they belong to, the competition level they are on & if they are going thru a growth spurt (or any other major stress such as the loss of a pet/loved one, step parents, going from kid to teenager & the emotions there). I had ideas & plans I gave to all my swimmers & their parents. Although, I'm no longer coaching I'd be more than happy to pass along my knowledge. Another thing I recommended for all my under high school childrens parents especially if they came to practice anyway to watch was to try swimming themselves in the open lap lane. If they couldn't swim I'd have them use a kick board & just kick & practice what they do know & burn calories. Some of the moms really loved it & did it together & taught each other what they could & by a month or two later they'd be swimming laps too (not talking but swimming). By the end of one year i had four moms willing to race against the relay teams & the kids LOVED IT! If you want adult lessons I'd be more than happy to teach you & be your swimming buddy if you want cuz I've not been in the water for a few yrs due 2 blood clot illness. Whether you decide to swim or not I'd love to give you my ideas & plans I gave other swim moms. My # is on Facebook & I'm in Chan's friend list & she has my #. Good luck with whatever you decide. 2. It does make it so much easier when we do it together. Maybe talk to Steve and tell him how important this mean to you and how you need his help and support. When I signed up for my full Marathon, I told my hubby that I have to have his support and help in order to get me through this challenging training. He said of course and has been great. I hear ya about making different meals.I struggle with that at our house since I don't eat meat, and none one eats veggies and hates everything I like. So I am always making something different for me, but that is changing. I am trying to find healthy recipes that we can all enjoy. It's hard but I am going to try my best to see if I can find some good meals that we can all enjoy.
